Walking Rugby

Fancy enjoying rugby at a slightly steadier pace? Come along to Fairford RFC’s Walking Rugby sessions for a fun, friendly and sociable way to keep active.

General Info

Walking Rugby is open to adults of all ages, shapes, sizes, abilities and genders. You do not need to be super fit or have any previous rugby experience - just bring comfortable sports clothing, suitable footwear and a willingness to join in. The game is played at walking pace, with the emphasis on enjoyment, teamwork, gentle exercise and plenty of laughter.

What Does It Include?

Sessions include warm-ups, skills, friendly games and the occasional Walking Rugby tournament, offering the chance to meet and play alongside teams from other clubs.

Where and When?

Every Wednesday 7.00pm–8.00pm
The CHOP (Coln House School Playing Fields, Horcott Road, Fairford, GL7 4DD)

New players are always welcome. Come along, meet the team and give it a try - the hardest part is usually remembering not to run!
